Late Pirates

Seimi and Eejee just got the last of their Christmas presents - LEGO pirate ships! The ships had been detained in shipping (appropriately enough), but the small and medium-sized hobbitlings are now enjoying high seas adventures in the basement.
The creativity that was sparked by the LEGO ships triggered a massive fleet buildup in the basement seas.

The Mayor's completed Battle of Helm's Deep.
This is the fulfilment of something the Mayor has wanted for a long, long time.
As a bonus, the Mayor made an Eye Spy list for everyone to find hidden items.
The Mayor also got some work done in the basement, fixing up and installing new shelving and trim in the pantry and cellar.

The Michael Delving Hobbits sent a matching gate sign to the Singapore Hobbits as a penthouse-warming gift, and here's the sign installed on the new penthouse door.
On one clear night, we did a fire pit in the backyard.
Ela and Seimi playing with fire (under the Mayor's "adult" supervision)
The hobbitlings had a Christmas last hurrah on New Years Day and managed to watch most of the Christmas movies they hadn't gotten to yet. They also decorated this year's gingerbread creation - a holiday RV. Happy New Year!
