Boookie started potty training last week. He enjoys reading books and playing with his new stuffed toy Elmo while ensconsed in the bathroom. The Mayor was brushing his teeth the other day and happened to hear the hobbitling saying something like "Elmo go see potty." The Mayor looked down just in time to see Elmo being shoved into the potty chair. Fortunately, everyone's favorite hairy red shrill-voiced character was safe, since the Boookie had not yet earned candy by using the facilities.
The living room remodel continues at breakneck speed. The Mayor finished installing the wiring during the week, and Uncle Matty came over for another productive Saturday. The living room now has insulation, drywall, and a new door.
Here's the outside of the house as of this morning. We now have two little porch lights, as well as an outdoor outlet and flood light for the driveway.
