Ela had to go to urgent care this morning to get her foot checked out after someone ::cougheejeecough:: pushed the sofa table over on her. Afterward, the Hobbit Wife overheard this conversation between Ela and Boookie:
B: So, did they put you on that table?
E: Yeah, and they put this heavy blanket over me.
B: It's a lead blanket to protect your body from the X-rays.
E: Yeah, not heavy like they were trying to crush me to death. Just heavy.
B: And then when the X-ray machine started up, I know what you were thinking: "This is it - the moment I get my superpowers!"
E: (giggle) Yeah, kinda.
