This is a long post, but that simply corresponds with the busy week/weekend this has been. Things started out with the Mayor's brother coming into town to stay at Michael Delving for a week. Here is Uncle Andrew and the Magician's Nephew.

And here is Uncle Andrew, attempting to evangelize Boookie into the Apple way.

Here's Ela modeling her adorable "flower sleeper."

We went on another excursion down to U-Village to let Boookie play in the fountains.

The frog and turtle fountain is on a timer, which surprises Boookie every time.

Here he is, soaking wet after about 15 minutes of playing in the fountain. Everyone who walked by seemed to have one of two comments - "Do you know he's getting wet?" and "Do you have a change of clothes for him?" It is nice to know we live somewhere where people are so astute and know just what we should do as parents!

The Mayor's parents and sister got to meet the little hobbitling girl on Friday. Here is Grammy with the little girl.

Here's Grammy enjoying her grandhobbits.

Boookie was thrilled to pretend-drive the Mustang that Grampz got from the rental company. The Mayor was less thrilled when he got to real-drive the Mustang. However, the Mayor is now able to completely remove the Mustang from his cool car list.

The Mayor's brothers and sister were successful in teaching Boookie how to do "Earmuffs."

On Sunday, most of the family went to church up at Crosspoint Lynnwood. Boookie was excited to walk into Church with Grammy, Grampz, and Auntie Alexis (or as he calls her, "Auntie Sexist")

After church, we all went down to Lakewood to celebrate Uncle Matty's and great-Grandpa's birthday. This year, they celebrated 111 years (21 for Matt and 90 for great-Grandpa). Here are some pictures from the gathering.

Here's great Uncle Dan. Boookie loved the slinky, but he did not enjoy being picked up.

Here's the birthday boys, getting ready to blow out their candles.

And here's the paparazzi.
