The Mayor has been making steady progress on the Michael Delving remodel. Here is the Boookie marveling at the new window blinds.
The Mayor had a tree service come in and cut down the two large cypress trees located at the front corners of the house. The house is shown below as it was when we moved in.
Boookie was beside himself with excitement when the tree service (or "chainsaw guys" as he calls them) took down the trees. When you're a 2 1/2 year old little boy, it doesn't get much better than a crane, a chipper, big trucks, and big tough guys with chainsaws - all coming to your front yard to put on a show! Below is the house after "the chainsaw guys made a big mess."
The living room is of course, taking a while to finish up. It is shown below in its state shortly after we moved in.
And here is the living room in its current state. It still awaits flooring and trim, but I think you'll agree it's at least a slight improvement over its original state.
