The Mayor and hobbitlings celebrated July Fourth a day earlier, going to a baseball game down in Tacoma. This is our fifth year going to this game and it was the first year Eejee joined us. In addition to the baseball game, we got to enjoy cotton candy and the playground at the stadium.

Because this isn't our first time attending a baseball game, we knew to bring coats and other things to do, such as books and coloring. Eejee commented at about 4 hours into the game, "Is this a really long show? Soon it will be morning!!"
Eejee has seen a few random fireworks, but never a full fireworks show. He wanted to know what was special, asking, "What do the fireworks do? Are they going to destroy some things?"
